Code of Conduct & Anti-Corruption Policy
AeonicX operates on a simple standard: we win business on the merit of the product, and never by paying for an advantage. This page sets out the rules everyone working for or with AeonicX is expected to follow.
Last updated: 21 August 2026
1. Scope
This policy applies to AeonicX and to everyone who acts on its behalf: the founder, any employee or contractor, and any agent, reseller, affiliate or partner representing AeonicX to a third party. It applies worldwide, to every customer, supplier, platform partner and public official we deal with, regardless of local custom or commercial pressure.
AeonicX is a small, independent software business. That is precisely why these rules are written down: a small team cannot rely on layers of internal approval to catch a problem, so the standard has to be clear, absolute, and applied by every person before they act.
2. Zero tolerance for bribery and corruption
We prohibit bribery and corruption in every form, whether the other party is a private business or a government body, and whether the benefit flows to us or from us. No one acting for AeonicX may offer, promise, give, request, agree to receive, or accept any financial or other advantage intended to improperly influence a decision, secure business, or obtain an unfair advantage.
- No bribes or kickbacks, in cash or in kind, direct or through an intermediary.
- No facilitation payments. We do not make small unofficial payments to speed up a routine approval, registration, licence or clearance, even where such payments are locally common.
- No payments to a third party where we know, or have reason to suspect, that any part of it will be passed on as a bribe.
- No use of charitable donations, sponsorships, referral fees, discounts or consulting arrangements as a disguised improper benefit.
- No political contributions made on behalf of AeonicX.
This applies equally in the other direction. We do not accept an inducement from a supplier, partner or prospective customer in exchange for preferential treatment.
3. Gifts, hospitality and entertainment
Ordinary business courtesy is acceptable. Anything that could reasonably look like an attempt to buy influence is not. A gift or hospitality is permitted only if it is modest in value, infrequent, openly given, proportionate to normal business practice, and would cause no embarrassment if it were made public.
- Cash and cash equivalents, including gift cards and vouchers, are never acceptable in either direction.
- Nothing may be offered to a government official, or to anyone connected to them, without prior written approval from the founder.
- Nothing may be offered or accepted while a contract, tender, renewal, dispute or approval decision is live.
- If in doubt, decline politely and refer the matter to the founder. Declining is always the safe answer.
4. Conflicts of interest
Business decisions at AeonicX are made on merit. Anyone acting for AeonicX must disclose any personal, family or financial interest that could conflict, or appear to conflict, with the interests of AeonicX or of a customer. Once disclosed, the person concerned steps out of that decision. Undisclosed self-dealing is a breach of this policy.
5. Accurate records and honest claims
Every payment we make and receive is recorded accurately, in reasonable detail, and in the correct books. We do not maintain off-book accounts, disguise the purpose of a payment, or create misleading documentation. Invoices reflect what was actually supplied and what was actually paid, and expenses are recorded for what they were.
The same honesty applies to how we describe our product. We do not misrepresent what AeonicX can do, invent customer results, publish fake reviews or testimonials, or make claims about competitors that we cannot support.
6. Working with partners and platforms
We hold third parties acting on our behalf to this same standard, and we expect the platforms and partners we integrate with to hold us to theirs. Before appointing an agent, reseller or affiliate, we satisfy ourselves that they are legitimate, that their fee is proportionate to genuine work performed, and that they understand that improper payments made in connection with AeonicX business are grounds for immediate termination.
Where a partner programme, marketplace or platform imposes its own conduct, data or marketing requirements, we comply with those requirements in full, in addition to this policy. Where a standard differs, the stricter one applies.
7. Fair dealing, sanctions and financial crime
- We compete fairly, and do not seek commercially sensitive information about competitors through deception or misuse of confidential material.
- We do not knowingly do business with sanctioned individuals, entities or territories, and we will not process a transaction we believe is intended to launder proceeds of crime or finance illegal activity.
- We comply with the tax, employment and consumer-protection laws that apply to us.
- We treat our security and privacy obligations as part of this code, not separate from it. Customer data is handled strictly as described in our Privacy Policy, and is never traded, sold or used as leverage.
8. Respect for people
We treat customers, partners, suppliers and anyone we work with respectfully and without discrimination on the basis of race, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or national origin. Harassment, intimidation and abusive conduct have no place in how AeonicX does business. We do not use forced or child labour, and we will not knowingly engage a supplier who does.
9. Applicable law
AeonicX is based in India and serves customers internationally. We comply with the anti-corruption laws that apply to our business and to the businesses we serve, including the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (India), the UK Bribery Act 2010, and the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, in each case where applicable. Where local law is stricter than this policy, local law prevails. Where this policy is stricter than local custom, this policy prevails.
10. Reporting a concern
If you believe someone acting for AeonicX has broken this policy, or has been asked to, report it. Email deep@aeonicx.com or use our contact page. Reports go straight to the founder and are read by a real person.
You may report in good faith without fear of retaliation. No one will be penalised, dropped as a partner, or disadvantaged for raising a genuine concern or for refusing to pay or accept a bribe, even if that refusal costs AeonicX business. Reports are treated confidentially so far as we are able, and we act on them, including ending a relationship or referring a matter to the authorities where that is the right response.
11. Consequences and review
Breaching this policy ends the relationship: termination of employment or engagement, termination of a partner or reseller agreement, or closure of an account, as applicable, alongside any legal action or referral to the authorities that the circumstances require.
This policy is owned by the founder of AeonicX, who is accountable for it. It is reviewed at least annually, and whenever our business or our obligations change materially. The current version is always the one published on this page.
